Turandot is an opera composed by the famous Italian composer Puccini. It is a story about how a cold-hearted princess found the true meaning of love. The Chinese imagery mixed with a western style greatly interested me in the opera.

 

I used the medium silkscreen to create a series of nine long format images based on the opera. Later, I bond the printed version of the illustrations into an accordion book.

《图兰朵》是一部由意大利著名作曲家普契尼创作的歌剧。它讲述了一个冷酷无情的公主如何找到爱的真谛的故事。中国的意象与西方的风格相混合，使我对这部歌剧产生了极大的兴趣。
我使用丝网印刷媒介创作了一系列基于该歌剧的九张长版图像。后来，我把这些插图的印刷版粘合成一本折叠书。
